Our friends at Cicero Studios have finished an animation illustrating the enhanced patient experience MEI has developed for the main hospital and clinical administration buildings at the VA campus in Palo Alto.

While the focus of our redesign concerns the re-planning and modernization of clinical care and support spaces, the project provided an opportunity to address the major public spaces, the arrival experience, and the building enclosure of the aging facility. This animation ties together a number of ongoing and future projects, including the Aquatic Therapy Center, an enhanced canteen dining plaza, the new landscape master plan, the creation of an outpatient-focused Ambulatory Care Center into a holistic vision of the patient-centered environment we and the VA are hoping to provide for Veterans, their families, and their care teams.
