VA PACT Space Module Design Guidelines

With the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Office of Construction & Facilities Management, MEI and CannonDesign developed the PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) Space Module Design Guide (2014). The PACT standards were developed for the nationwide implementation of significant change in the VA’s approach to the environment of care in delivering primary care services to our nation’s veterans.

PACT represents a cultural transformation to a “patient-centered team based” model for the delivery of enhanced primary care services to veterans and the PACT Design Guide was expanded to incorporate the operational and clinical reasoning for the change.
