Built in 1913, the historic San Cristina Housing has a unique architectural style and resides in the epicenter of Market Street in San Francisco. Acquired by the Community Housing Partnership in 1991, the building provides a home to formerly homeless adults. For this San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing RAD 2.0 (Rental Assistance Development) projects, MEI has partnered with AE3 Partners as the lead architect to renovate and rehabilitate the residence with new interior spaces and finishes to breathe new life into the 58-unit single-room occupancy residence.
