Senior Designer

MEI Architects is seeking a Senior Designer. We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, and highly motivated designer who will contribute well to our fast-paced dynamic office environment. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Architecture and possess proven technical design skills with Revit and AutoCAD software. Strong digital graphics skills (SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop options in space planning, façade concepts, interior spaces, finishes.
• Assist in developing feasibility studies by researching, understanding, and responding to relevant building codes, planning restrictions and design guidelines.
• Prepare reports, digital models, diagrammatic and illustrative drawings, and renderings for projects in concept and schematic phase, as well as for studies throughout the remaining phases.
• Present design projects internally and to clients and consultants.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related field with related skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. 
• Ability and inclination to improvise where necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines while working on various projects concurrently. 
• Enthusiasm and willingness to grow with the company.
